Streaming and playing at the same time

Hi,

I am trying to create a kind of a Facetime screen with the wowza sdk on iOS. In order to do that, I want my screen to be able to stream and also play a stream from the same screen (ref image).

When I start streaming then play the stream, it’s working well.

The problem is when I am playing the stream and I want to start my stream, it’s automatically stopping the player.

Is there a way to let the player working while starting my stream ?

It’s a great idea for an application and has been asked by other customers in the past, but our SDK does not support that sort of dual player, two way video streaming like Facetime. You would need to use webrtc to accomplish a video chat type application.
