Trying to run a local shoutcast to Wowza

I’m trying to connect to a AWS hosted Wowza server, from Winamp on my windows computer. The two devices seem to be seeing each other:

Wowza Access Log:

ShoutCastReceiver.internalConnect: Failed to connect[[IP Address]:8000] : org.apache.mina.common.RuntimeIOException: Failed to get the session[ConnectException: null].|at org.apache.mina.common.support.DefaultConnectFuture.getSession(DefaultConnectFuture.java:71)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.MediaCasterConnection.connect(MediaCasterConnection.java:67)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.MediaCasterConnection.connect(MediaCasterConnection.java:38)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.shoutcast.ShoutCastReceiver.b(ShoutCastReceiver.java:850)|at com.wowza.wms.mediacaster.shoutcast.ShoutCastReceiver.t(ShoutCastReceiver.java:20)|

Server (200): ShoutCastReceiver.internalConnect: http://[IP Address}:8000/

It produces these logs every time Winamp goes through the connection process. The username that I’m using is an admin level account and I’m using the AWS security group that was presetup by the Wowza image. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I can’t seem to receive RTP streams from a Barix either. The connection is set to not require authentication on this particular live stream.
