Understanding nDVR logs

Hello,

We recently started using the nDVR functionality to be able to deliver recordings through our streaming platform. We ingest RTMP streams, record them using nDVR and then deliver using HLS and MPEG-DASH with WSE version 4.8.5. In our Origin servers we are getting the following logs:

Can you help us to understand what those logs mean? What could be the problem behind those logs? We are getting them all the time.

Hello. The log messages you are seeing (especially if the pending value starts to grow) are reporting that the Wowza nDVR feature is starting to fall behind with writing the DVR recording to the local disk. Most likely this is caused by high load on your system where maybe you have multiple live streams being recorded at the same time and the disk I/O speed is becoming a bottleneck.

Please submit a support ticket so we may further investigate and also check you have enough resources as far as CPU and bandwidth. We can help you with testing in a ticket.
