We have enabled ssl on our wowza host for our HLS streams and have noticed that all videos now buffer. Looking at the request it appears the server takes 22 seconds to download the first chunk and then its fine for the next two and then takes another 20 seconds for the 4th … The second and third chuncks that are the same size take less then a 2 seconds.
The server is not loaded and I see no reason why this is taking so long.
