so i just this port number 8088 is crushed ?

plz. let me know how can i fix it!

Hi, not sure I understand your references to 4.2 and 4.5.0, those are extremely old and outdated versions of Streaming Engine. We are on Engine version 4.8.17 now and that requires a Java version of 9-11.

There have been so many breaking changes since the versions you mentioned, I can’t imagine it still working on your local environment you shared but let me show you how you can do some troubleshooting: Click on the link below.

plz help me.

os : windows server 2012 R2
and java version that is recommend ur guid.

Best thing to do would be to uninstall old version and then install the latest version to try out. In your case it could be that ports are already in use or the system process for old and new collide.

You can also make sure you are pointing Engine to the correct version of Java that you’re using which I can see in your screenshot is 10. Important: Wowza Streaming Engine version 4.7.8 and later requires OpenJDK Java SE JRE 9.0.4 at a minimum, but supports up to Java version 12.

You have to instruct Engine to what version you are using since the default is 9 in Streaming Engine at the moment.

The steps do this are here:
