You can modify the default port number (port 8088) used by Wowza Streaming Engine™ Manager. In some deployments, it's better to use a more common port for the manager user interface. This article describes how to modify the port used by Streaming Engine Manager.
If your Streaming Engine Manager UI is running on a Linux-based OS, open the [install-dir]/manager/bin/startmgr.sh file. On a Windows computer, open the [install-dir]/manager/bin/startmgr.bat file.

To change the port to which the manager binds, change "8088" in the line --httpPort=8088 to the desired port number. Make sure that there's no other service running on the same computer that's using the newly assigned port number. You must restart the Streaming Engine Manager service before the new configuration settings will take effect.
After the service restart, to check that your Streaming Engine Manager is working properly on the new port, open a web browser and connect to:
