How to use Envivio encoder with Wowza media server (MPEG-TS)

Note: This article is for an older Wowza™ media server product or technology that either has been updated or is no longer supported. For the current version of this article, see How to publish and play a live stream (MPEG-TS based encoder).
By default, Envivio encoders produce an MPEG-TS stream such that the start of a video frame isn't aligned on 188-byte MPEG-TS packet boundaries. If the stream playback is jerky or missing frames, then you have this problem. At this time, Wowza Media Server 2 doesn't handle this type of stream properly. Envivio can provide a setting that aligns the video stream properly so that it will re-stream through the Wowza media server.
