If you are familiar with the installed examples in Wowza Media Server 3, you may notice some changes starting with Wowza Media Server 3.5.0. Some examples are removed from the installation while others are renamed. The examples that have been removed are available via links below.
BWChecker: This example is removed from the Wowza Media Server installation and is now available for download (Download BWChecker.zip). This Adobe Flash example provides a way to test the bandwidth between individual Flash client connections and Wowza Media Server. It also includes a debugging tool that you can use to interactively test bandwidth and Flash code that you can embed into your Flash application.
RemoteSharedObjects: This example is removed from the Wowza Media Server installation and is now available for download (Download RemoteSharedObjects.zip). This Adobe Flash example illustrates the basics of remote shared objects. It implements the basic remote shared object interface and the onSync event handler to highlight how data is synchronized between client connections.
SimpleVideoStreaming: This example is renamed to VideoOnDemandStreaming in the Wowza Media Server installation. This example includes a video on demand player for Apple iOS devices / OS X, Adobe Flash, and Microsoft Silverlight. It uses the default stream type.
TextChat: This example is removed from the Wowza Media Server installation package and is now available for download (Download TextChat.zip). This Adobe Flash example illustrates how to implement a simple text chat application.
VideoRecording: This example is renamed to WebcamRecording in the Wowza Media Server installation. This Adobe Flash example illustrates how to implement client-to-server video recording. It uses the record stream type and uses the Camera and Microphone objects to get video and audio content.
