Default Media Type Question - Beginner

Hi, I am pretty new to Wowza and I have a very simple question. Well, I think it must be simple.

Currently, I am working on an app that records a users' video/audio via the webcam. The application type is "record" in Wowza configuration. This correctly saves a .flv file when the recording is done.

However, I am now trying to ALSO save a .mp4 version of the same recording so that the content can be played on iOS devices.

How do I go about doing this? Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

You cannot record to mp4 unless the stream is encoded in H.264 and AAC/MP3. Flash 11 can support H.264 but not those audio codecs. You'll have to convert the recorded files. Some hints here:
