    Question EC2 IP address issue

I am installing Wowza 3 on EC2 but can't seem to connect to my service. I created large EC2 instance (RHEL6.1). As for the Wowza 3, I downloaded, installed, and started (startup.sh) the server and service (service WowzaMediaServer start).

But when I try to access rtmp://ec2-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.compute-1.amazonaws.com:1935 I get nothing, actually it tries to load forever. My security group allows anyone to connect to TCP port 1935.

    Thanks!

If you want to check if Wowza is running, and if port 1935 is open, use http url in a browser:
    http://ec2-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.compute-1.amazonaws.com:1935/
This should return Wowza version and build

Thanks, that works! I still can cannot access rtmp://ec2-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.compute-1.amazonaws.com/vod. I just want to access the demo and the {install_dir}/examples. Thanks.

    Use /examples/SimpleVideoStreaming/client/simplevideostreaming.html

I am trying rtmp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/examples/SimpleVideoStreaming/client/simplevideostreaming.html and that's not working. I checked my iptables and I have
    ....
ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere tcp dpt:macromedia-fcs
    ....
I am still unsure of the problem.

Also, it appears to be returning a ieframe.dll error. Does this sound familiar?
