Default How to see how many people anr viewing my live stream

    Hi,

I recently got WOWZA working on my server using demo license. I am now streaming live from FMLE.

Is there a way for me to check how many people are currently viewing the live stream?

    Thanks

I read that but the url it is reffering to is not viewable on my browser eventhough my streaming is running OK.

I already add a password and upload the updated file but still the url http://[my-wowza-ip]:8086/streammanager is returning error.

I did checked http://[my-wowza-ip]:1935 and it return this on the page Wowza Media Server 3 Trial Edition (Expires: Nov 14, 2011) 3.0.3 build882

With that I am assuming my install is OK.

Any idea why it won't be accessible?

    Thanks

You can start a graph in JConsole

    littleantz,

You said, "streammanager is returning error."

What is the error? Also, what happens when you browse to http://localhost:8086/? You should also see the Wowza version.

Also, when you start Wowza do you see:
INFO vhost comment _defaultVHost_ Bind attempt ([any]:8086:1)
INFO vhost comment _defaultVHost_ Bind successful ([any]:8086)

If not, then maybe some other program is using port 8086.

    The error is
    The connection has timed out

The server at [wowza-ip] is taking too long to respond.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network

that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

You might have to allow TCP port 8086 out in server's firewall

My server support says port is open in/out.

Thanks for those who tried to help.

It looks like my ISP is the problem. I can't access port 8086 from my computer.

I verified from a remote computer and it is working.
