Default Disk speeds for live stream

Hi all, i'm setting up a livestreaming site. I've got a tengigabit dedicated server with ssd disk. This are hard disk benchmarks:

    hdparm -Tt /dev/sda2
    /dev/sda2:
    Timing cached reads: 12666 MB in 2.00 seconds = 6339.28 MB/sec
    Timing buffered disk reads: 788 MB in 3.01 seconds = 262.06 MB/sec

Im trying to get at least 8,000 concurrent users. Will this disks speeds be a problem? Does wowza store livestreams? Does I/O has something to do with livestreams setups?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi techguy,

I don't think Wowza uses the disk for live streaming. But, your SSD drive certainly won't hurt for VOD, or recording applications.
