Default SilverStream and Live OSMF Player

    Howdy...

I'm trying out the examples and connecting to the new Media Streams hosted by my Wowza service, and Silverlight and the Live OSMF Player are not working correctly.

The SilverStream example either shows blank or shows a snapshot. The URL being used is:
    http://[wowza ip]:1935/WebcamHanjin71/WebcamHanjin71.stream_360p/Manifest

    Ideas?

The Live OSMF Player plays fine, but when left alone "stops" even though it's in play mode. And when I stop and start it again - it's out of sync with the live feed. Not sure if it's picking up where it left off, but it's not the same time frame. The URL I'm putting into the Live OSMF PLayer is: http://[wowza ip]:1935/WebcamHanjin71/WebcamHanjin71.stream_360p/manifest.f4m

Why would the Live OSMF Player pause / stop? and on restart be out of sync?

The other example: /LiveVideoStreaming/client/live.html does not appear to have any issues playing the stream.

    Hi
As far as I'm aware SilverLight needs an audio stream or the video wont play...
What are the audio settings on the camera you're using for the SilverLight stream?

As far as the OSMF player in concerned this could be an issue with the live feed, from bandwidth to incorrect audio or even a mixture of both,
Can you give me the camera output format etc..

There is no audio on the stream - so we'll drop Silverlight as an option. The Flash/Flex is fine for our needs at the moment.

The other examples like client & clientFlex play Ok, it's only the OSMF example that has issues stopping during play back and being out of sync.

We are transcoding the MPEG4 stream coming from the camera to h.264 (360p and 160p options). Using VLC I see the following coming directly from the camera:

    Stream 0
    Type: Video
    Codec: MPEG-4 Video (mp4v)
    Resolution: 640x480
    Frame rate: 15.015015

    Stream 1
    Type: Video
    Codec: Motion JPEG Video (MJPG)
    Resolution: 320x240

and when I use VLC to connect to Wowza I see:

    Stream 0
    Type: Video
    Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
    Resolution: 188x360
    Frame rate: 59.940059

(I'm working with Richard on the strange resolution result.) Not sure why the OSMF just stops.
