Question Flash HTTP Streaming and Security

    Hello

Is there any possibilities for securing flash http streaming? (like SecureToken)

    Thank you

    Vincent,

There isn't an equivalent to SecureToken for Flash HTTP streaming with Wowza, but you can do validation using this method:

    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....h-HTTP)-stream

    Exclamation

As mentioned in the commentary of Ali, on the page http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....h-HTTP)-stream, the function "onHTTPSanjoseStreamingSessionCreate" is not called !

For this example, I created a live mbr application and a smil is used to generate a F4M.
I used a player like the flash media playback to open my stream. The stream is read correctly.

However, the function "onHTTPSessionCreate", it is called! And it is therefore possible, at first, to use this function.

Is a mistake on my part? A bug?

F4M url is for Flash HTTP, San Jose streams, so it would fire onHTTPSanjoseStreamingSessionCreate

    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....h-HTTP)-stream

    Better to use the catch-all:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-and-San-Jose)

I understand, however, what I'm saying is that this function "onHTTPSanjoseStreamingSessionCreate" is not called

    Hi
I had a look at the links and found a typing mistake.... should be:
    onHTTPSanJoseStreamingSessionCreate

The difference is a capital J in the function name.
    This should now work fine.
