Default dynamic load balancing between edge servers

    Hi,

Is it possible to setup a LB listener and sender pair that's both edge servers? They will both pull from origin server in another region of the world and act as edge, but one of them will also be LB listender/sender, while the other will only be LB sender. Will this setup work? They do not need to care about the load of the origin or any other edge servers.

Also, how does Dynamic LB work for IOS devices?

Yes, you could do all kinds of configurations. Any one Wowza server can be a LB Listener, LB Sender and have a liverepeater-edge and liverepeater-origin application(s)

For non-Flash clients, you can get least loaded server over http (HTTP Method in readme), typically in your server page while you are forming html:
    http://[wowza-address]:1935/loadbalancer

I use the bwcheck method for detecting bandwidth and serving dynamic bitrates. As far as I know, bwcheck doesn't kick in until the user is connected to the stream for a few seconds. Is there a way to use wowza's loadbalancer to connect the user to the EC2 instance with the best bandwidth for their location?
