Default mp3 via http - how?

    Hello,

mp3 via http is supposed to work according to the specs.
But the following src link does not work for Strobe Player (OSMF):

    http://localhost/vod/mp3:audio.mp3/manifest.f4m

Whereas these audio only links work just fine:
    http://localhost/vod/mp4:audio.mp4/manifest.f4m
    rtmp://localhost/vod/mp4:audio.mp4
    rtmp://localhost/vod/mp3:audio.mp3

I tried several other combinations - none worked.
Does anybody know how the source link hast to be in order to make mp3 via http with Strobe work?

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Peter,

What you show is right in form. It is probably a player/encoding problem. Try playing it directly from a web server, progressive download. That will factor out Wowza and streaming. If it doesn't work, it is player/encoding problem

    Thanks Richard,

your hint led me to the problem & solution, on my dev-system it is working now, somehow I had the server ports configured wrong. Now I can successfully stream mp3 via http and strobe player.

On a clients server we had the same issue lately but I am sure I will be able to sort it out as well.

    Thanks for your fast support!
