Default Teradek Cube RTMP recorded vod file not playing back

Used simple video streaming example page to try and play back a recorded video from the teradek cube.

Tried changing just about every setting i can find on the cube to send the input stream differently. I tried sending stream in compression types: high, main and baseline, all same problem. I do know that the compression level from cube is 4.0 no matter what type. And dont see a way to change it.

Live stream works perfectly, its just the recording from the "live" application using "live-record" streamtype. Will sometimes play back and mostly doesn't playback.

Cube 250 has latest firmware. I used default vod application, no changes. I tried recording in FLV format and mp4 format, no difference.

Recorded from 64bit linux wowza 3 ec2 instance, and tried to playback on vod app on a local wowza 3 license no difference.

I should'nt have to re-encode this file just to play it back.

Snapshot from Gspot of last file tried.

    Hi
Are you stopping the stream or just copying the file?

You need to stop streaming so that the files closes correctly,
Or use the live record module to stop/start recording so the file is closed properly.

If the file isn't closed correctly it doesn't have all the information needed to be played back

Stopping the stream, and then I go to play it back.

The time it takes to close should be when the .tmp files have disappeared in the content folder right?

If it try to play it back to quickly before the file closes will that screw it up indefinately?

Or just during the time it needs to close.

And then once it closes it will play fine?

    Hi
Yes, the .tmp needs to have disappeared in the content folder.
I think that it will be broken indefinitely if this is played before the file closes correctly.

It should play fine if closed correctly the first time round.
