    Default live-record and record path

    Is it possible to record live stream to folder named after live stream name?

    Stream is published to app called "live" and stream name is "mystream".

    I tried ${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}\content\${com.wowza.wms.context.ApplicationInstance}
    but the result is ${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}\content\_definst_\filename.mp4

    I would like it to be ${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}\content\mystream\filename.mp4

    Is this possible?

    See page 32 in the User Guide in the section "Content Storage". There is not a variable for StreamName. You can do the app name:

    ${com.wowza.wms.context.VHostConfigHome}\content\$ {com.wowza.wms.context.Application}

    You can write a custom module to move the file. See example code here:

    You can also look at the LiveStreamRecord module for an example of setting a custom output path:

    This could be what you want..,
    If you create a stream called live/mystream and it gets saved into the "content directory" and there is a directory in the content directory called live this will automatically save into the directory called live

    This test was done in FMLE and the URL for this stream would be,
    [Wowza-Ip]:1935/live/_ definst_/live/mystream

    FMS URL would be,

    Stream would be,

    The result would be a recorded steam called "mystream.mp4" in the /content/live directory.
