Default Can you disable streammanager or at least make it https ?

Using Wowza 3 for a very specific application to pickup an mpeg-ts encoded multicast stream and then restream it as an RTSP unicast stream. Want everything to start automatically usinng Startupstreams.xml so there is no need for using streammanager to start and stop streams. Is there a way to disable streammanager or at least make it https?

You can remove the HTTPStreamManager HTTPProvider from the /conf/VHost.xml /HostPort /Port 8086

It uses admin-digest authentication, so you control access with the /conf/admin.password file

Can Apache be disabled and still be able to restream a multicast UDP MPEG-TS stream to RTSP. Would like to disable apache so a web server does not show up on a security scan.
