    Default vods3 on self-built EC2 AMI

    Hi forum

I've been trying to get vods3 streaming working using Wowza 3 on a custom EC2 instance, running Ubuntu 10.10, but can't for the life of me get it to work.

Please can you tell me if there is something fundamental which makes this impossible. (I have the mediacache.jar, amazon jars etc all installed. Everything seems to work fine - including the /mnt/mediacache directories being created - but the streaming never starts and the client hangs at the buffering stage.)

    Default

    Problem solved.

If it helps anybody in the future, the exception turned out to be

    Exception in thread "VHostHandler._defaultVHost_.146" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javazoom.jl.decoder.Bitstream.<init>(Lcom/wowza/io/IRandomAccessReaderV

The problem was a conflicting version of jlayer in one of my custom modules. Removed that and it works fine.
