    Unhappy BlackBerry Link

    Hi there,
Do you know something about the blackberry link? Did it change or something?
As I know it has to be the same for BB and Android: rtsp://domainort/live/stream_name
It works perfect on Android but not on BB's. It's set to H.264 & AAC. Does it require some more specific settings? I've tried almost all the combinations.
    Please reply...

    Best regards,
    Cosmin S.

Still nothing, I've done everything possible. Did the BB link change somehow? I can't understand why is working perfectly on Android but not on BB.

    Hi
As far as I'm aware its not changed but I'll try and find out for you.

    Hi,
Iv asked a member of staff about this and they also don't think it has been changed.

What do the logs say when you try to connect?,
If they don't say anything then the connection isn't getting through to Wowza at all, which suggests a network issue.
possibly port 554 is blocked by the network..?

What versions of BB have you tried? Did a recent BB update break it? Can you play any RTSP streams on BB? Can you play the Wowza mobile demo: http://www.wowza.com/#demo

I've tested on the Blackberry emulator from Eclipse and on a Blackberry tablet (on that one it says that the browser doesn't know how to handle that request).
I tried the demo last night and nothing..

Can you specify the BB version number? Thanks.

The BB version number is 7.
    Hope it helps.
I'm not sure about that port 554 JasonH mentioned. By the way thanks Jason but still nothing

Is port 554 enabled in VHost.xml? 554 is the default rtsp port. We have seen BB issues resolved by using the default port instead of 1935.

If port 554 is enabled, you should see Wowza version in a browser:

    http://[wowza-address]:554

Then you can use rtsp url without a port:

    rtsp://[wowza-address]/[app-name]/stream-name
