    Default vod + preload

    Hi,

How to play vod with preload?

    Here is my situation:
In a video player will be a selectbox of the video quality :
"avto" - here I put url like http://[wowza-ip-address]:1935/vod/s...l/manifest.f4m (Adaptive Bitrate Streaming)
"high","low" - here I need to set path to file, because I need file preload, but I don't know what path to set?

If I set http://localhost:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.f4m or rtmp://... there no preload. Also I tried to set MaximumSetBufferTime = 0 but there no effect.

There is not a way to pre-load in streaming.

Is there any way to set dirrect path to video file without streaming?

Please give me an advise to solve this problem. All video files are in the /content/ folder on the Wowza Media server and it's unreal to copy them to another folder to another server.

You can install a web server on the same machine and map the content folder to a web location. Or make symlink to the content folder.

Or, you can have your content on another machine running a web server, and use MediaCache to stream from that content server
