    Red face Help with Wowza

    Hi,
    I've downloaded wowza. I've been told wowza does "everything". What no one told me is that you have to write a lot of codes to do "everything". We are buried under "tons" of projects. We need a programmer that can help us with wowza

    If you have time, contact me at : real.drouin@nalegroup.com

    Thanks

    You can also write to support@wowza.com and ask for list of independent consultants.

    I don't know your requirements, and it is possible that you will need custom coding, but there are a ton of ways to use Wowza with simple configuration settings not involving any coding.

    Richard,

    I wrote to many of the independent consultants and all but one told me that wowza is not the tool I'm looking for. I'm trying to have a video conference with someone else. That's all. Nothing else.

    All but one, told me that I need actionscript to do that, not wowza. I'm all confuse

    Regards
    Real

    If you just need a video conference, there are many services. If you want something for your website, there are chat apps that work with Wowza:

    * ChatBlazer http://www.chatblazer.com/ (part of Pendulab)
    * Flashcoms http://www.flashcoms.com/
    * AVChat http://avchat.net
    * Cyberxess http://www.cyberxess.com/wms/login.php

    Well, I'm still confure, even more. Wowza is not a software that does video conference ? If I understand well, you are referring me to another company that does video conference ? Aren't they your competitor ?

    Wowza is a streaming server. It does not include any client applications, except some examples meant as starting places and reference for developers. So Wowza is not exactly what you are looking for, though it can be used in that kind of application.
