Default wowza 2 vs. wowza 3 f4v woes

So we just upgraded to wowza 3 from wowza 2 and everything was going great. Then we noticed that all the f4v files that used to play just fine from wowza 2 do not play at all from wowza3. What's the deal? any ideas? the f4vs still play fine from our wowza 2 server, but can't play from either of our 2 new wowza 3 servers.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Should still play. There has been no change that would make them not work

Please would you send the following to support@wowza.com:
    - a sample flv file that is not playing.
    - zipped conf/ and logs folders the from 3.0 installation
    - An example of the URL used to playback from the 3.0 installation.
Please reference this thread in the email.

    best regards,
    - Daren

    Hi,

Looks like one of my coworkers figured out the problem...just for future reference this is what was going on per my coworker:

"...there's something up with the way the mount point is connected...It was just timing out before it could start...I created a second mountpoint using NFS instead of CIFS - made a new application (ondemand2) and pointed storagedir at the new mountpoint...works fine."

Thanks for the quick response and willingness to help though! I'm sure i'll have some more questions as we get further into the project.

    Andrew
