    Default Ending live stream gracefully

    Hi,
    I was wondering if there is any way to end live streaming "gracefully" so once I end streaming the flowplayer will not recieve status 200: stream not found message.

    Thanks

    Hi
    There are a few ways to do this but it may be more work that you expected.

    1.) Set a schedule .smil file shown here,
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....t-in-smil-file

    Or

    2.) You can set-up a vod streaming channel so that once a live steam has ended the video plays, this video can be on a loop that plays over and over and stays up after the live streaming has finished but disappears when the live stream comes back.

    This would be all custom written code

    It's actually a player interpretation of NetStream or NetConnection NetStatusEvent notifications. JW Player has a live stream reconnector that you might like

    Thanks ,
    Just found out it is much more simple than we though (rrlanham using your idea).
    Flowplayer gives you the ability to catch events for instance in my case

    onError: function(errorCode) {
    // errorCode 200 means the file is not found
    if (errorCode == 200) {
    this.play("someimg");
    }
    }

    or if you would like to hide those messages you can simply add
    showErrors: false

    attribute.
    Again , thanks for the help
