Thread: Stoping in Standalone

    Default Stoping in Standalone

I am running Wowza on Linux, accessing it through Mac Terminal, SSH. I am able to start the server in standalone mode and run successful testing, but when I try to shutdown by running the below command, I get no response and the connection seems to become unresponsive. My only option is to close out Terminal, and reconnect. Any idea why this is happening?

    cd /Library/WowzaMediaServer/bin

I am able to start and shutdown in "System Service" no problem.

Try control-c in the terminal running Wowza, should shut it down.
