    Default Encoding Hardware Resources

During the videochat encoding process, does it use the graphics card to process the encoding or only just the CPU? During the videochat example, my CPU is averaging 99%. I am looking to see which hardware I should be getting so the hardware is at a comfortable level during encoding.

    Hello user,

Wowza does not do any encoding in this scenario. In the videochat example Flash is doing the encoding and sending the encoded stream to Wowza. You can try a different browser, different versions of flash, or a different codec (requires editing the .fla source)
