Ive try with "service:jmx:rmi://[instance-public-domain]:8084/jndi/rmi://[ instance-public-domain]:8085/jmxrmi" and with "[instance-public-domain]:8085"

There is also a small change to be made in /conf/Server.xml

    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content.php?217#jmx

Make sure you restart Wowza after this change.

You restart Wowza by stopping the service and restarting it, or if you are running in stand-alone (/bin/startup.bat) mode, you can do control-c to stop the process, then start again

Startup packages are for configuring a new instance.

I don't keep the instance running all the time. I do live streaming only so I start the instance only when i need it.
I use Amazon EC2, i dont know how to restart the service (what service?). Can you give my some step by step guide.
    Thx
