Thread: SSL certificate for subdomain?

    Default SSL certificate for subdomain?

    Hi,

My website is on a subdomain: web.site.com. When I make the SSL certificate (http://www.wowza.com/forums/content.php?128) should I set it for my domain, my subdomain, or *.site.com?

Also, when building the certificate the last prompt says "Enter your password for <wowza> (RETURN if same as keystore password). What should I be typing here... I don't understand what "wowza" password it's talking about.

    Thanks!

    Default

The domain should be exact, I think, if it is subdomain or www add those. That is the domain that will be secured. The password is just what you add in the first step in that list, you can make it "password" if you want, as in the example
