Thread: including .ts requests in logs

Default including .ts requests in logs

For debugging and testing purposes I would like to see the requests for *.ts files (served by Cupertino playlist.m3u8 for example) in the log files. Is there a way to enable this? To be clear, currently requests for a m3u8, only show the request for the m3u8 and no activity for the *.ts files which are dynamically chunked and served by Wowza.

    Thanks

Either I'm not seeing it or you mis-understood. I need to see the requests for the *.ts log files served by Wowza's Cupertino packetizer in the log files.

I will double check, but I don't think there is way to do that.

Actually, you should see this with DEBUG logging turned on. In the top row of /conf/log4j.properties file change "INFO" to "DEBUG", then restart Wowza. This adds some overhead of course, not a good idea in production.
