    Default Wowza: modules

    Hi,

    I am new to Wowza. And I want to implement this:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....nce-and-stream .
    I have question:

    public void getServerConnectionCount(IClient client, RequestFunction function, AMFDataList params)
    {
    Server server = Server.getInstance();
    int count = (int)server.getConnectionCounter().getCurrent();
    sendResult(client, params, count);
    }

    a)Where this sendResult(client, params, count); function sends values and how I can access them.
    b)Where on server I can find wowza client load list, which is sent to http://[wowza::ip]/loadbalancer?live and etc...

    If that command is invoked by a remote Flash RTMP client with NetConnection.call(functionName, null, responder), then data in sendResult is sent back to the calling client, it is handled by the responder.

    Take a look at the ServerSideModules example that ships with Wowza for a working example of Flash <> Wowza application that does this.

    Thanks for replay.

    Next question:

    I am trying to use wowza IDE 2, when I choose file -> new -> Wowza media server project;
    It promts that I need to locate Wowza media server to start working. Can I bypass it ? (Wowza server isn`t on this workstation.)

    Generally you need to install Wowza locally. I'm not sure if it is possible to attach to remote server, but installing local is the way to go

    First, that is one of the built-in HTTPProviders

    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....e-Server-Stats

    so there is no need to build it unless you are going to make modify.

    You should see stats for each active application. Apps that have not started or have unloaded since are not shown.
