    Default Problem to publishing Live on Android device

    Hi,
    I have to publish a web application to broadcast a live streaming.

    Into <body> tag I set the following code...
    For iPad iPhone-iPod all is ok, I used: <video controls src="http://domain.com:1935/live/live/playlist.m3u8"></video>
    For Android I have problem. I tried to use <video controls src="rtsp://domain.com/live/playlistlive3g"></video> but it doesn't works.

    I use Flash Media Live Encoder with these settings:
    VIDEO: format H.264 (lev 3.0 - keyframe Freq: 2 sec)
    AUDIO: Mp3 - 44.1 MHz - Bitrate 128

    Please, someone can help me?
    thanks a lot.

    Hi
    Take a look at this,
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....-RTP-playback)

    If you are playing the same stream from the encoder through both devices then change the android url to:
    <video controls src="rtsp://domain.com/live/live"></video>

    The tutorial will help you through getting/having port 554 open. If you don't have it open then use port 1935 same as iOS url.

    thanks for your reply.
    I did all, but nothing works. (appear the default error video image)
    I restart the wowza service and restart the encoder.

    This the code into the body tag.
    <video controls src="rtsp://domain.com/live/live"></video>

    <VHost>
    <HostPortList>
    <HostPort>
    <ProcessorCount>4</ProcessorCount>
    <IpAddress>*</IpAddress>
    <!-- Separate multiple ports with commas -->
    <!-- 80: HTTP, RTMPT -->
    <!-- 554: RTSP -->
    <Port>1935,554</Port>

    Hi
    Did you double check the resolution mentioned in the tutorial and can you check that video on demand works for you?
    This will allow us to determine if the set-up is correct etc.

    Tutorial here,

    Hi,
    I did a test like you suggested, but nothing works.

    <video controls src="rtsp://91.121.122.95/vod/mp4:sample.mp4"></video>

    I don't think (don't have one to test) rtsp url will work in HTML5 video tag. It should work directly in Android browser.

    Hi
    I tried the url you posted "rtsp://91.121.122.95/vod/mp4:sample.mp4" and played in VLC Player and this worked.
    I also tried url "http://91.121.122.95:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8" on iOS device and this worked.

    Using the same IP address you gave me I tried rtsp://91.121.122.95/live/live in VLC Player and this also worked.
    I also tried http://91.121.122.95:1935/live/live/playlist.m3u8 in iOS device and this also worked fine.

    I try with three different device (samsung galaxy tab, samsung GT-9100 and an Acer Mobile) all with Android 2.3.

    into Samsung no video is shown. i get "impossible reproduce the video". Only in Acer mobile all works.

    Is a known issue?

    thanks for your help,

    Hi
    I think this could be a firewall issue blocked by the server or router.

    I couldn't get a connection via Blackberry Bold through a wifi network.
