Default HTTP Streaming Flash and MP4 with Cisco Show and Share and Cisco ACNS 5.5.13

    Hello,

I am using Wowza Media Server 3.0.3 as an external hosting and streaming for Flash and MP4 video files for Cisco Show and Share 5.2.3.

I was able to stream *.flv and *mp4 in Show and Share with rtmp but i wasn't able to do the same using http.

Cisco Show Share needs a root path where it can get all the video files ( http://mywowzaserver:1935/myapplication/mp4: ) and Wowza HTTP on-demand streaming works only with a manifest.f4m file at the end of the URL ( http://mywowzaserver:1935/myapplicat...4/manifest.f4m )

Is it possible to do MP4( and Flash) HTTP on-demand streaming without using manifest.f4m ?

I need to use HTTP because Cisco ACNS 5.5.13 allow only prepositionning (caching) in HTTP.

    Regards,

You need a player that uses the OSMF framework to play a sanjose (Flash HTTP) stream from Wowza. I don't think Show&Share supports this.

Wowza has example OSMF players, and this hosted player supports sanjosestreaming:
