Post Unable to playback HTTP Sanjose stream on Flash player 11

    Hi,

I am trying to playback a MP4 video file with the flash 11.x player and unable to do so. Following is the url I am using

    http://172.21.49.24:1935/264/mp4:A-a...4/manifest.f4m

I have setup the wowza correctly. On the wowza console I get the following message

    INFO stream create A-aa9cc573-0a1a-4996-a106-bea04a84ad83-2fbc60c6-9f39-4795-aa10-a28277095082_sample.mp4

I guess it requires some sort of OSMF plugin. Can you please suggest on this?

    Thanks

    Hi Guru,

Try with Wowza example in [Wowza-Dir]\examples\SimpleVideoStreaming\clientOSMF\bin-release\SimpleOSMFPlayer.html

The Strobe player is a production ready option. This is a hosted version of Strobe.

You just copy the embed code that is outpout below the player to a web page on your server. That's why it's the easiest option.

I have thousands of Videos. So far I have been using RTMP url for publish and playback of all these videos leveraging the flash plugin in the browser. Now, I would need to move from RTMP to HDS, and If i use the HTTP url, the videos are not playing. How do i get the same capability in RTMP for HTTP as well.

    Thanks

    Hi
Are you using the stream url as show here,
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....on-demand-file

    http://wowza-address:1935/vod/mp4:sa.../playlist.m3u8

have you added - cupertinostreaming, smoothstreaming, sanjosestreaming to the HTTPStreamers?
    <HTTPStreamers>cupertinostreaming,smoothstreaming,sanjosestreaming</HTTPStreamers>

    How are the files encoded?
They need to be H.264, AAC/MP3 and baseline 3.0 or lower to work on all the iOS devices.
