    Default Java Install Question

I am just starting the process of installing Wowza for our University. The first step was to install Java. I installed Java successfully. The next step was to verify that Java was installed and running. We are running on a Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit installation. I opened a command prompt and entered "Java -Version". I received a message stating that 'java' is not a recognized command. Did I miss a step?

    Hello Towson,

You may need to check with your network Administrator about permissions issues.

The Java install help is here:

Other than that, ensure that the java executable is in your path environment var.
