    Default Web Root

    Where is the web root located on the Wowza Server? I need to copy the JWPlayer there and cannot find anything on where it is. Thank you for your help.

    Wowza does not include a web server. If you want to use the same machine to serve web pages you will have to install a web server separately.

    So, how do I get my videos to play outside of your SimpleVideoStreaming file? Do I need to install a Web server to do that? I obviously do not want my users to go to that player to view videos. Please help.

    Yes, you do need a web server to serve the client files. You can install a web server on the same machine or on another machine. Remember that a player running in a user's browser is what connects to Wowza; the web server is not directly involved, it just serves the client files. So the web server can be anywhere.

    For a production ready Flash player, take a look at JW Player, Flowplayer, or Flash Media Playback. One of these:
