    Default rtsp re-streaming problem

    ERROR	server	comment	2012-04-19	15:47:17	-	-	-	-	-	4826.39	-	-	-	-	-	-	-	-	RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasicRTSPWorker.processResponse: CSeq less than zero
    WARN	server	comment	2012-04-19	15:47:32	-	-	-	-	-	4841.64	-	-	-	-	-	-	-	-	RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasic.getStreamInfo: RTSP/RTP re-streaming timeout.
the camera streams over port 81 so my .stream file looks like this:

    rtsp://10.1.1.20:81/axis-media/media.amp?videocodec=h264
authentication to view the stream is set to anonymous, so none is required.

Which axis model is it? Can you make it available on a public IP?

I see the same log output in this thread:
    http://www.wowza.com/forums/showthre...ream-via-Flash

    Charlie's response
It looks like camera will only do RTSP/RTP over HTTP which we do not support when re-streaming from an ip camera. We do support this mode then streaming out. We do not support this protocol when pulling a stream.

    the axis model is p1346

the public ip is 208.68.121.20 still port 81. so:

    rtsp://208.68.121.20:81/axis-media/media.amp?videocodec=h264

It didn't work for me in VLC on port 81 in VLC, but no problem with default port:

    rtsp://208.68.121.20/axis-media/media.amp?videocodec=h264

But try this, it will work better:

    rtsp://208.68.121.20/axis-media/media.amp?videocodec=h264&compression=90&resolution=640x360

This should restream in Wowza no problem. I have an access camera, it works great. btw, your stream is audio only, but I think it has a microphone, add "audio=1":

    rtsp://208.68.121.20/axis-media/media.amp?videocodec=h264&compression=90&resolution=640x360&audio=1

Of course you can do this all with profiles.

awesome thank you! i couldn't make the port 81 work outside the network, but like you said using the defualt port worked fine outside with vlc.

my apologies. i was able to connect from the public IP with vlc, i wasn't able to get the stream working. now the error that im getting is this.

    ERROR	server	comment	2012-04-20	08:23:33	-	-	-	-	-	64602.578	-	-	-	-	-	-	-	-	MediaCasterConnection.connect: Failed to connect[208.68.121.20:554]: org.apache.mina.common.RuntimeIOException: Failed to get the session[ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information].
    i've tried placing:

    <Name>rtspValidationFrequency</Name>
        <Value>0</Value>
        <Type>Integer</Type>
    <Name>rtspFilterUnknownTracks</Name>
        <Value>true</Value>
        <Type>Boolean</Type>
in the MediaCaster/properties settings of the application.xml file of the application folder, 1 at a time, both at the same time, and not at all. yet get the same error.
