    Default Reading LiveStreamPacketizer Output via API for FTP propagation

    Hello

    I wish to republish the HTTP based streams, preferably for all 3: cupertinostreamingpacketizer,smoothstreamingpacketizer,sanjosestreamingpacketizer but at the least for HLS(cupertinostreamingpacketizer) by reading the files that are produced by the Packetizers and uploading them via a dedicated uploading thread.

    I understand that this can be done by simulating a HTTP session to the Wowza server and retreiving the assets on a timed interval, however I am wondering if this type of interaction would be possible via an API. I was hoping for something on the lines of:

    EventListener packetizerListener {
       void onUpdate (Packetizer p, String[] files) { // lets say a new file was generated
          for(file: files) {
             Byte[] buf = p.getFile(file);
             // then ftp_upload_buf -> file
           }
       }
    }

    packetizer.addEventListener(packetizerListener);
    Regards,
    Evgeny

    Hi
    The method you're looking for is not yet available in Wowza,
    you'll need to use the HTTP session method you outlined above at this time.

    Thanks for the reply, is this type of feature on the roadmap for a future version of Wowza? if so is there any idea on roughly when this type of feature would become available?

    Evgeny
