    Default Unstable framerate

    Hello !
We are building a live video conferencing system in flash composed of two applications Presenter and Kiosk.
Presenter video is being displayed on the kiosk in real time.
The output frame rate on the presenter application is at at as stable 30fps but when it reaches the kiosk the framerate
starts behaving erratically, it rises and drops anywhere from 15 to 30fps(never stable)

    Our setup is the following:
-Presenter is streaming at 800x600, 30 fps , 3Mbps ,encoded with flash H264 codec, MAIN at LEVEL_5_1.Presenter machine has
an Intel I5-2400 with 8GB of RAM (processor load under 50% at all times) and an internet connection of 6.5 Mbps Download / 10.6 Mbps Upload.

-Kiosk is streaming at 320x240,30 fps,1.5 Mbps , unencoded. Kiosk machine has an Intel Dual Core 4 GB Ram and an
internet connection of 6.5 Mbps Download / 10.6 Mbps Upload.

Our current Application.xml can be found at http://n5-development.ro/samples/wowza/Application.xml
    Please advise !

    Thank You !

I'm not sure what you can do. There is not a guarantee of framerate at the client, it is flexible by design.

The behindDrop*Frames Property settings that you have in place are what you have to control frame dropping in Wowza. Their use is explained in this post:

You will have to experiment to see what provides the most benefit in your environment. Still, as I understand everything, network and local client capabilities are factors and can drop frames and frame rate too.
