    Open /conf/VHost.xml in text editor and find this HTTPProvider
    <HTTPProvider>
    	<BaseClass>com.wowza.wms.http.streammanager.HTTPStreamManager</BaseClass>
    	<RequestFilters>streammanager*</RequestFilters>
    	<AuthenticationMethod>admin-digest</AuthenticationMethod>
    </HTTPProvider>
    Change the AuthenticationMethod to "none" for no password.
    <AuthenticationMethod>none</AuthenticationMethod>
    You can also chage to "admin-basic" for inline password

    You probably have port 8086 blocked by firewall or not mapped in your network to the server running Wowza.

    If it is a problem to deal with, you can move the StreamManager HTTPProvider in the /conf/VHost.xml file to the first HostPort, the one with /Port "1935". Do not put it last, it must go above the last HTTPProvider in that list, i.e., be 2nd to last or above.
