Unhappy "Doneness" doesn't work in live stream (nDVR)

I've been using FMS 4.5 (4.5.2) for some time now and decided to try Wowza. It was really easy to install and configure, however, Wowza Media Server still doesn't address the issue of "Doneness". For those of you who don't know what "Doneness" is, it's the ability to tell the stream that it is over (i.e. Done). The issue you will encounter is after you stop the stream (gracefully) either using Wirecast or FLME, the stream doesn't get marked as "Done" and you end up with a "Buffering..." when the end of the stream is reached. For a normal viewer, they will think something is wrong and just close the browser, rather than pulling the slider back. If this issue can't be addressed (should be a no-brainer here), then I will just stay with FMS 4.5.2. This is a BIG issue that anyone who does live streaming should be complaining about.

    Very Disappointed,

    G

Wowza sends the same NetStream notification in this case: "NetStream.Play.UnpublishNotify"

You can debug with Wowza LiveVideoStreaming/clientFlex.

You are likely to get this notification while the player is still playing out the buffer.

Sorry, my mistake. These do not apply to nDVR playback clients, just RTMP

Anyway, I don't know the answer, but will get back to you.
