Thread: Port Number Requirement

    Default Port Number Requirement

We have been using the dynamic load balancer for quite some time. After a restart of the service, port 1935 is now required for our playback urls as well as the load balancer url. How and why did this change? Is it possible to have this be a default without having to add ":1935" to the hostname? We are running version 3.0.3. Thanks.

1935 is default RTMP port, so you do not need to specify when making RTMP connection. For RTMPT, RTMPS, and HTTP urls, you need to specify 1935 if that is what you want to use. Their defaults are 80, 443 and 80, resp.
