    Default client connection duration

I'm trying to come up with some statistics about client connections, specifically how long a client viewed a stream for. Searching the forum I found this post: http://www.wowza.com/forums/showthre...tream-duration which states:

For stats per client connection, take a look at the log rows with x-category "session" and x-event "disconnect":

    sc-stream-bytes * 8 / x-duration = bps

Looking at my log database it seems that entries with x-category "session" and x-event "disconnect" don't have a value for "scstreambytes":

    xevent | xcategory | scstreambytes | xduration
    ------------+-----------+---------------+-----------
    disconnect | session | - | 32.098
    disconnect | session | - | 1.52
    disconnect | session | - | 76.934
    disconnect | session | - | 2.517
    disconnect | session | - | 7.555
    disconnect | session | - | 6.105
    disconnect | session | - | 3.166
    disconnect | session | - | 4.962
    disconnect | session | - | 11.664
    disconnect | session | - | 0.47
    disconnect | session | - | 0.115
    disconnect | session | - | 94.598
    disconnect | session | - | 143.61
    disconnect | session | - | 29.838
    disconnect | session | - | 14.483
    disconnect | session | - | 150.206
    disconnect | session | - | 5.517
    disconnect | session | - | 49.827
    disconnect | session | - | 192.129

My database was set up as detailed here: http://www.wowza.com/forums/content....ase-PostgreSQL

Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Actually, look at the sc-bytes field of those rows. I updated the thread you referenced.

    Thanks,

Hmm, I have the same problem using sc-bytes:

    select xevent, xcategory, scbytes, xduration from accesslog where xcategory='session' and xevent='disconnect';

    xevent | xcategory | scbytes | xduration
    ------------+-----------+---------+-----------
    disconnect | session | - | 32.098
    disconnect | session | - | 1.52
    disconnect | session | - | 76.934
    disconnect | session | - | 2.517
    disconnect | session | - | 7.555
    disconnect | session | - | 6.105
    disconnect | session | - | 3.166
    disconnect | session | - | 4.962
    disconnect | session | - | 11.664
    disconnect | session | - | 0.47
    disconnect | session | - | 0.115
    disconnect | session | - | 94.598
    disconnect | session | - | 143.61
    disconnect | session | - | 29.838
    disconnect | session | - | 14.483
    disconnect | session | - | 150.206
