Default Unable to start Wowza server

    Hi,

We are using Wowzamediaserver-3.1.1. We installed it on CentOS 6.

If we run startup.sh command outside bin directory, it gives error ./setenv.sh: No such file or directory.

    [root@deepthought ~]# pwd
    /root
    [root@deepthought ~]# /usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/bin/startup.sh
/usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/bin/startup.sh: line 2: ./setenv.sh: No such file or directory
    [root@deepthought ~]#

If we run same command inside bin as shown below, wowza server starts properly. How can we fix the above problem.

    [root@deepthought ~]# cd /usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/bin/
    [root@deepthought bin]# ./startup.sh
    Configure logging: file:///usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/conf/log4j.properties
    .
    .
    .
INFO server comment - Wowza Media Server is started!

    Thanks,
    Vijay

    Default

Try using absolute path for setenv.sh command in the startup.sh file

    /usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/bin/setenv.sh
