    Default Changes done in Application.xml <StorageDir> don,t take effect

    hi all sorry to be a newbye

    i wander because i have edited my conf/Application.xml file :

    <StorageDir>/home/content</StorageDir>
    but in logs/wowzamediaserver_access.log i get this 404 error

    2012-07-03 10:11:37 UTC comment server WARN 404 harold1.mp4 MediaReaderH264.open[1]: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /usr/local/WowzaMediaServer/content/harold1.mp4 (No such file or directory) - - -99.716 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - -
    of course i have restarted the server after changes, but it looks like wowza does not care at all about...

    This is usually a permissions issue, are you running Wowza as the root user?

    Have you changed it in /conf/[Your application]/Application.xml or just the conf/Application.xml?
    The .xml file used for [Your application] is the one you copied into the directory you made in /conf
    Example :
    /conf/live/

    Not to cause offence but are you sure that the directory exists? /home/content/
    It has been known to happen...

    Let us know how you get on and or if you get it working by yourself.

    Look in the access log for the app-start event and see if there is any WARN line regarding the Application.xml file. If it is malformed the /conf/Application.xml file is used
