Default Is it possible to take in one live stream but offer it at 2 different locations?

I have a video stream from offshore (low bandwidth). I have some users that need to see this stream 24x7 but others that should only be allowed to connect during certain hours. I figure if I can reuse the same inbound stream, I can use the scheduler class to turn one of the streams off and on and leave the other one going full time. I just can't have the offshore encoder sending the same stream twice over satellite / low bandwidth.

Maybe there's some sort of "virtual repeater" that can take in the stream and re-pipe it to a different endpoint or something?

I have searched for hours and must not be putting in the magic search phrase to find the answer to what must certainly be a common problem.

    Thanks!

You have 2 good ideas. 1) You can wrap a live stream in two or more Stream class streams with different access and duration for each. 2) Or you can re-stream using liverepeater to have two (or more) repeated streams that can be managed separately.

Thank you. I will give it a try. Quite a number of steps, especially the java, but that's OK.

Is it possible to debug any of the code at runtime? I expect to make a few mistakes during the process.

Yes, you can step through Wowza server-side Java code in Eclipse or the stand-alone Wowza IDE.
