Question What are the total bitrate values for the following instances on EC2?

On the Amazon EC2 Guide, it lists total bitrate values that a single instance of a given instance type can handle for
outgoing streaming for the following instances:

    m1.small: 150,000 Kbps
    m1.large: 250,000 Kbps
    m1.xlarge: 350,000 Kbps

What are the total bitrate values for these?

    m2.xlarge,
    m2.2xlarge,
    m2.4xlarge,
    c1.xlarge

We don't have test results for these instance types, but you can compare the "I/O Performance:" rating for each instance type here:

    http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/instance-types

Unfortunately the values "moderate" and "high", etc. are unqualified.

You can use the Wowza load test tool on EC2. You can get that by writing to test@wowza.com, there is a document to sign and return.

    Hi
Reading the link the I/O Performance for each is this :

    m1.small: 150,000 Kbps (Moderate)
    m1.large: 250,000 Kbps (High)
    m1.xlarge: 350,000 Kbps (High)

    From the above results.
    (Moderate) = About (150 mbps)
(High) = Between (250 mbps) and (350 mbps)

    The link says :

    m2.xlarge, (Moderate)
    m2.2xlarge, (High)
    m2.4xlarge, (High)
    c1.xlarge, (High)

As an EC2 customer you may want to point out to Amazon that this isn't very clear.
