    Default Stop Multiple instances

i am going to use windows 2008 server.
and wowza month to month plan with transcoder.
i just want to know.. is there any way. i can block multiple instances ?

I want only one instance on my server .
Because.. if i open second instance by mistake.. i will be charged for that

is there any way to stop the transcoder not to accept more than one channel ?

also in task manager.. what is the process name for wowza ?

    thanks

You could put an if statement in your startup.bat to check if the main Wowza server is running, and if the Server.license file is the paid license. If both of those are true, then error out.

There are many different ways depending on your type of publishing:

    Hotlink denial module
    RTSP Password
    Override Publish Module
    RTMPAuthentication Module
    URLParams module
