    Default Transcoder & Sawmill statistics

    hello,
i use some instance of Transcoder for http mobile adaptive streaming with 3 output stream :

    mystream_160p
    mystream_240p
    mystream_320p

so this stream group is inserted in 'mystream_mobile' stream name .
i use Sawmill sw for statistic and my goal is have a connection statistic about mobile devices for know which of this 3 stream the devices choose when connect .
i have try to look in the Wowza stats logs but i see that appear only 'mystream_mobile' when the devices connect, so there are a way for have a statistic
about which stream is used more often ?

    thanks,
    steve

    Steve,

Not at present. Wowza does not log switches of the individual streams in these groups. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but it might tell you the same thing essentially if you look in sc-bytes and x-duration field in log rows with x-event "destroy" of a http session.

    sc-bytes / x-duration * 8 = average bps for that session.

    Steve,

That is possible but I do not have a time frame and I don't know of any imminent plan.
