Default Calculating duration when two play events occur in one c-client-id

I've noticed that at least one of my daily log files includes multiple instances of two play events to a single c-client-id. Typically the second play just precedes a stop event according to the x-duration.

Whenever possible I use the play and stop event to report actual user listening behaviour, subtracting play from stop x-duration to estimate the actual amount of time a listener heard the stream.

Is anyone familiar with the incidence of a second play event in a session and its interpretation?

    David,

An RTMP NetConnection (c-client-id) can have many Netstream (x-stream-id) objects

Thanks for getting back to me Richard. How would I determine the actual duration of audio play during a session (versus session duration) when a session has multiple play events but only one stop event? All fields in the records with the multiple play events are the same except for time, duration and bytes, so for example in the case of a client-id with 2 play events it appears that the session begins, play starts, then play starts again later, then ends.

If there is not a stop event per a set of x-stream-id rows (a subset of a c-client-id rows), then you have to get duration and sc-bytes from the row with the most recent date.
